Two British Columbia Educators Honoured

Tuesday, March 31 ,2015

VANCOUVER – Youth Science Canada, the national organization that coordinates and supports project-based science activities in schools throughout Canada and organizes the annual Canada-Wide Science Fair, recently announced its 2015 Distinguished Service Awards. Among the seven recipients are two from British Columbia: Caedman (Ceddy) Nash, Vancouver and Roswitha Marx, Victoria.

These awards recognize long-term service to and leadership in regional and national science fair activities. In British Columbia, Regional Science Fairs are held annually in fourteen areas covering all of British Columbia and the Yukon with the support of the Science Fair Foundation of BC. This year’s honorees were recognized for their sustained contributions to the Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair (Ceddy Nash) and Vancouver Island Regional Science Fair (Roswitha Marx). The awards will be presented at the upcoming regional fairs in British Columbia.
